The roses in Liston are famous for the strength of their scent and their overwhelming size. Declared the national flower of the country, the gardens overflow with colors and sizes of roses. The sheer perfume is enough to drug anyone into a stupor. Of course, that's the excuse of every woman found in a compromising position here.

This area is reserved for banquets, masquerades, and parties of all sorts. The name derives from the mosaic of mermaids and Poseidon on the wall where the froth of the sea is made up by pearls. The room has multiple nooks and crannies, some of which are still unknown.

On the ceiling of this room is a dazzling display of a massive mirror. Originally placed there by a rather paranoid Howard king who believe assassins would attack him from above, it now serves a more devious purpose: councilors have been known to write notes on their parchment and have rivals read what it says by looking at the reflection. This is where councilor meetings and larger meetings in private are held.

Filled with musty tomes and old poems, the library is largely where people go when they want to be left alone or receive some true learning. It should be noted that sometimes the royal children have held their tutoring sessions here.

Should Their Majesties ever desire a private, small audience with you, you'll know it will be held in here. You will also be aware that they will serve you imported tea. Whether or not you come out without a set of guards around you, however, is up to you.

The room remains largely unchanged since the palace has been built. A large majority of queens have all agreed to the wisdom that claiming their husbands' country and colors were best for a happy marriage. The queen's chambers include an antechamber, her bedchamber, a bathing room and her wardrobe. Ladies-in-waiting: be prepared to spend a lot of time in here preparing her for the day.

The newest king, the first non-Howard to ever rule in a thousand years, has changed the room drastically by using his Greystone colors instead of the traditional Howard. The bed has been remade using wood from the Burlington area and these chambers also have multiple parts: antechamber, bedchamber, wardrobe, and bathing room.
