Ladywell is a town of rather good size. It received its name more than five centuries ago when a lady of the Rosethana line came to draw water at the local well. Upon arriving, she was said to have seen a vision of a holy virgin woman that claimed to be the Mother of God. After taking the word back to her father and brother, the Rosethana's converted to Christianity. Granted, no one knows if it's true or not, but it's a lovely story anyway.
